Superior
Installation Inc. is a fully licensed, insured,
and qualified HVAC contractor. Operating with
over 30 years of experience with the conception
beginning with Mr. Oscar Benfield. Oscar started
his HVAC business in Morganton, NC with great
success.
Later, his business was re-located to Spruce
Pine and in 2001, was purchased by David Whitson
on a hand shake. Today, Oscar continues to
assist the company in daily duties.
David has operated a successful electrical and
security business since 1983 and contributes the
company’s success to Teamwork, Quality, Customer
Service, and Safety.

Installations include high efficiency heat pump
split systems, dual fuel split systems, DX,
geothermal, open or closed water systems,
gas/fuel piping, and system conversions.
Our full service work shop and metal fab shop
operates in a one hour radius. Our services
include supply and installation of all brands of
equipment as requested by our customers. We
offer our customers maintenance agreements with
expedited response time and service for years to
come.
